Crossbred between the Toy Poodle and Maltese, Malti Poo’s have many unique names including Moodle, Malta Poo, Malt-Oodle, Multa Poo, Malti Doodle, Malt Oodles, and the Maltese Poodle. As a crossbreed, Malti Poo’s are not like other poodle mixes.

In dog breeding terminology this is known as a backcross. When breeders choose to mate Malti Poo with each other, this is called a multi-generation cross.
