Origin

Crossbred between the Toy Poodle and Maltese, Malti Poo’s have many unique names including Moodle, Malta Poo, Malt-Oodle, Multa Poo, Malti Doodle, Malt Oodles, and the Maltese Poodle. As a crossbreed, Malti Poo’s are not like other poodle mixes.

The parent lineage from the Maltese side makes Malti Poo’s a good pet for people with allergies. Since the Malti Poo is not purebred you cannot register your new puppy with the American Kennel Club (AKC), although it is accepted as a breed by the American Canine Hybrid Club.
